On April 25, 2017, Pennlive/Patriot-News published an article by Jan Murphy about the passage of HB97, charter reform legislation, in the PA House. The article cited PennCAN’s Executive Director:
Jonathan Cetel, executive director of the Pennsylvania Campaign for Achievement Now, an education reform group, admits the bill is not perfect but called it “an essential first-step towards modernizing Pennsylvania’s outdated charter law.”
