On November 20, 2015, Watchdog.org published an article by Evan Grossman highlighting the environment in Philadelphia for charter schools.  The article cited PennCAN’s Executive Director:

“It’s no surprise that fewer charter schools applied because they observed that last year’s process was unfair,” said Jonathan Cetel, executive director of PennCAN, the Pennsylvania Campaign for Achievement Now, a statewide education advocate. “This trend should worry advocates who are eager to attract the most talented educators and innovators to Philadelphia.”
