I joined the PennCAN board because when it comes to creating more great urban schools, there are too many gaps between public policy, knowledge and what actually is working. Pennsylvania needs an organization that is leading a statewide conversation about policies that too often limit student access to effective teaching—and grounding that conversation with facts.
